Biography
Implant started in 1992 and became one of Belgium cult electro acts.
With the 11the album : “cognitive dissonance”, release on Alfa Matrix, Len Lemeire and Jan D’hooghe released not only their most personal album to date but also the most diverse in sound and the most electro pop oriented album so far. With the already cult hit single phantom pain.
Budling on a strong live reputation, implant managed to concur stages all over Europe and beyond. Next to numerous remixes for the likes of Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, Suicide Commando, Apoptygma Berzerk, Angel Spit, The Neon Judgement, Plastic Noise Experience, Leather Strip … etc.
When ANNE CLARK heard Len’s remix for ‘Sleeper in Metropolis’, Implant became the electronic live band of ANNE CLARK for 5 years, resulting in guest contributions of Anne on 2 albums (‘Audio Blender’ and ‘Self Inflicted’). When Jean-Luc de Meyer (FRONT 242) heard an implant track, he decided not only to contribute vocals for 1 track (the creature), but a full blown new project was born under the flag of 32CRASH.
And there is more to come. They are currently working on album 12 to be released in 2022
