Front 242 moves to the Winter edition of Sinner’s Day –

Echo & The Bunnymen joins us in Summer and in Winter

From the Jam & Tyske Ludder have to cancel due to hospitalisation

4 new major talents confirmed

When we heard the unfortunate news of Jean Luc (F424) being hospitalized we talked to the band to wish him all the very best and a speedy recovery; F242 reconfirmed at that stage their presence at  Sinner’s Day Summer, 24 June.

Today, the band and the Sinner’s Day organisation decided to give Jean Luc more time to recover and to postpone the F242 concert to the winter edition of Sinner’s Day (31 October , Diest).

Furthermore, Bruce Foxton (bassplayer The Jam) has to forfait.. We received this unfortunate message from him

Dear Erik,

As you know I am having Cancer treatment and unfortunately the next batch of treatment falls in the period when we are doing Belgium and France. I,m really sorry about this but unfortunately we are going to have to pull these dates. My doctors have advised me that these treatments are paramount. I am sure you understand and hopefully the promoters in France and Belgium also understand. We will be on your stage in 2023 !

Bruce

And finally, the leadsinger of Tyske Ludder was victim of a car-accident last Monday. Claus is doing alright – but the recovery will take for several months. The performance of Tyske Ludder will be rescheduled to 2023.

As a result, the Sinner’s Day organisation went back to its drawing table which results in the following changes:

24/06 : Two newcomers

F242 is the ‘original’ – you can not replace F242 – so the organisation search in different corners to find suitable replacements which resulted in 2 names:

W.H. Lung :  the new kids on the block – massive talents straight out of Manchester (UK). W.H. Lung brings an evening fillled with dark disco and cosmic new wave, as if created in the 70s and 80’s ! This is a must see band!

Echo & The Bunnymen :  Celebrating their 45th anniversary this illustrious band graces us with 2 passages – one in the summer and one in the winter.  Noblesse oblige!  Welcome to the wonderful world of E&TBM

Customers with a DAY ticket for FRONT 242 (24/06) can ask to change their ticket to October 31st.

To make all of this work, Saint Agnes had to be rescheduled to Sinner’s Day Winter (30/10) and Algiers switched date to 24/06.
